The Well
Welcome to "The Well", our electronic newsletter. The name is inspired by passages from both the Old and New Testaments: "With joy shall you draw water out of the wells of salvation." (Isaiah 12:3), and "The water that I shall give you shall be in you a well of water springing up into everlasting life." (John 4:14). As in ancient times, The Well is a meeting place. We see it as a place of conversation and a mutual source of nourishment for individuals and churches engaged in justice and corrections.
The Well highlights news articles, research, upcoming legislation, conferences, educational opportunities, stories of healing justice work, and more. Wanting to encourage further conversation and nourishment, we know from time to time we will be publicizing positions or opinions CCJC may not support.
As of 2007, The Well will be published in the months of March, July and November. Subscription is free of charge, please contact info@ccjc.ca to sign up.
